Dynamic expansion in the US with frozen yoghurt

2026 is off to a strong start for KRI KRI, as according to information from “N”, the company will soon begin placing frozen yoghurt products on the shelves of two large American supermarket chains. In one of the two chains, the agreement concerns branded products and in the other, private label products.

Meanwhile, last year (fiscal year 2025) is estimated to have ended higher than the target set for a turnover of over 300 million euros compared to 256.4 million euros in 2024, thanks to the double-digit growth rates recorded by the dairy industry. It is worth noting that the British market in particular recorded a sales increase of more than 40% during 2025, while the markets of France and the USA also moved upwards and Italy remained the main export destination.

Furthermore, this year’s fiscal year begins, according to company management sources, with a new double-digit increase in business (over 10%) and with yogurt and European markets firmly at the forefront, in which the demand for Greek yogurt is steadily increasing.

Greek Yogurt Dynamo

The mega-investment program of 52.2 million euros (ed. investment project “Greek Yogurt Dynamo”), which has been included in the Strategic Investments regime, is running at an intensive pace and according to the company’s management will be completed in 2027 and not at the end of the same year, as initially planned. The “Greek Yogurt Dynamo” project focuses on strengthening the production capacity of both the yogurt and ice cream units.

At the same time, the aim is to increase efficiency, through interventions, in various stages of the production process, which introduce innovative technologies and advanced automation systems. In detail, the project concerns the installation of new, state-of-the-art machinery and automated packaging lines, the addition of storage tanks, the upgrading of pasteurization machines and the integration of CIP (Clean-in-Place) technologies for the automatic cleaning of equipment, the modernization of electrical and cooling systems and innovative technologies with an emphasis on sustainability and the reduction of the energy footprint.

It also includes the expansion of the biogas unit for the effective management of wastewater from the production process, enhancing the circular economy and the sustainable use of natural resources.
