Expansion of strategic partnership with Nova to upgrade corporate connectivity

Intracom Telecom, a leading network infrastructure manufacturer in Greece and an international provider of technology systems and solutions, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Nova, a member of United Group, the leading telecommunications and media provider in Southeastern Europe.

Nova will begin the deployment of Intracom Telecom’s WiBAS™ G5 Smart and WiBAS™ G5 GigaConnect systems to provide reliable and high-speed corporate connectivity via its 5G mmWave spectrum at 26.5–27.5 GHz.

This new deployment is a significant step in Nova’s ongoing investment in high-speed access infrastructure, aiming to provide highly reliable broadband services to its corporate customers. Operating in the 26.5–27.5 GHz band, the WiBAS™ G5 platform allows Nova to leverage significant network capacity and deliver consistent performance, ensuring strong connectivity even in demanding corporate environments.

Since 2021, Intracom Telecom and Nova have been implementing a multi-year network modernization program, leveraging Intracom Telecom’s WiBAS™ Point-to-Multipoint (PMP) technology. This nationwide initiative has focused on expanding coverage and capacity in the largest metropolitan areas of Greece, connecting thousands of businesses with next-generation wireless access solutions. The ongoing expansion reinforces Nova’s strategy to provide ultra-high-speed connectivity to businesses of all sizes.
