Kallas Inc targets continued growth momentum in 2026

Ημερομηνία: 30-07-2026

Kallas’ main target for the current year is maintaining the growth momentum achieved in 2025 amid a challenging international environment shaped by developments in the Middle East and uncertainty over the outlook for tourism.

Despite the challenges, management remains cautiously optimistic, acknowledging the demanding business environment, while at the same time looking forward to the returns from its investment programme, totalling more than 10 million euros, which was completed this year. According to sources close to management, “these investments are expected to significantly boost the company’s turnover, market share and profitability over the next five years, further strengthening its position in the Greek market.”

New processing facilities

As part of the investment plan, new processing facilities for dairy products, vegetables and functional protein blends were developed in Oinofyta during the 2023-2026 period, along with a glucose and vegetable oils packaging facility in Thessaloniki, a cereals and nuts unit, as well as the expansion of the ingredients (excipients) trading division serving the pharmaceutical industry.

2025 financial results

Regarding last year’s performance, 2025 marked another year of record results for the company. According to information available, the parent company’s turnover increased by 12.1%, reaching 251.33 million from 224.25 million in 2024, setting a new record and confirming its sustained growth trajectory.

Similarly, gross profit rose by 11.4% to 27 million, while the gross profit margin remained broadly unchanged at 10.74%, despite continued volatility in international food prices.

Leading position

Kallas Inc, which this year marks 59 years of operations in the import and distribution of raw materials and food products, has established a leading position in the Greek food trading market (excluding retail chains).

The company operates across the food manufacturing, food service and organised retail sectors, steadily expanding its footprint in Southeast European markets.

It operates temperature-controlled and covered facilities with a total surface area of 57,000 sq.m. in Acharnes, Vathy Avlidas, Volos, Ioannina, Thessaloniki, Oinofyta, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania and Serbia. It also maintains subsidiaries in Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and North Macedonia.
