Strategic collaboration with Roche Diagnostics

The IMITHEA Group and Roche Diagnostics Hellas are joining forces in a strategic partnership that establishes new standards in laboratory testing and, more broadly, in the diagnostic field in Greece.

Through this collaboration, Roche Diagnostics is contributing to the comprehensive modernisation of the central laboratories of Henry Dunant Hospital, as well as the hospital units of Geniki Kliniki, Kyanous Stavros Clinic, and Genesis General Clinic Thessaloniki, along with Rhodes General Clinic and Kozani General Clinic, all part of the IMITHEA Group. The upgrade includes state-of-the-art technology and next-generation reagents, enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.

Themos Charamis, Executive Chairman of IMITHEA Group, said that the group’s hospitals are being equipped with the most reliable diagnostic solutions, while healthcare professionals are gaining access to high-value medical knowledge essential for faster and more accurate clinical decision-making. This, he stressed, helps reduce disease burden in critical areas such as cardiometabolic disorders, neurology, oncology, and infectious diseases.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Roche Diagnostics Hellas, Siete Braak, emphasized that diagnostic testing plays a decisive role in prevention, early diagnosis, and disease management, as well as in the broader effort to build more sustainable healthcare systems.
