The first quarter agenda and changes in business plans
Greek banks have a heavy agenda this quarter with officials finalizing the last details of their business plans.
Piraeus Bank
On January 29, Piraeus Bank Securities will hold its roadshow in Paris, while on February 26 it will announce the results of the 2025 fiscal year.
However, all interest is focused on the Capital Markets Day, which will take place a few days later – specifically on March 5 in London, where the management is expected to present the new three-year business plan, which will also include the new “acquisition”, namely Ethniki Insurance, while the financial results are expected to show the first figures from this acquisition.
Alpha Bank
Investor Day is expected to be a milestone for Alpha Bank, as it will present its strategic plan and its goals for the next three years. The financial results for 2025 will be announced on February 27 along with the publication of the Annual Financial Report for 2025.
In parallel, Alpha Bank is expected to participate together with UniCredit in international roadshows in 30 countries.
National Bank
National Bank is expected to announce the next steps in utilizing excess capital, with analysts counting down to the presentation of its financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, while others expect it to reveal its steps earlier.
Eurobank
Eurobank’s financial results will be announced on February 26, while the annual financial report for 2025 will be published on March 6. A characteristic of its new business plan is expected to be extroversion, especially towards the East, since it has already been placed as a priority for 2026 by top executives since the end of last year.
In the international environment, the quarter seems to end with the 22nd Morgan Stanley Financial Conference in London, which will take place from March 17 to March 19 and will be attended by top bank executives.
