UniCredit increases its direct stake and voting rights in Alpha Bank to 29.8%

UniCredit’s final stake in Alpha Bank stands at 29.8% after receiving the necessary approvals, according to a statement.

More specifically, Unicredit stated: “Having received all necessary legal and regulatory approvals and coherently with what previously indicated, UniCredit has converted a circa 20% synthetic position in Alpha Bank S.A. (“Alpha Bank”), taking its physical share ownership and effective voting rights to around 29.8%.”
