ELTA resumes postal shipments to the USA
Hellenic Post (ELTA) announced the resumption of postal shipments of items valued at up to 800 dollars to the United States.
According to the announcement, ELTA is introducing a new process designed to ensure the seamless entry of postal shipments into the U.S. Through the international Zonos application, customers can now prepay customs duties easily, quickly, and securely before shipment.
This process ensures that postal shipments will not face delays, additional charges, or returns upon entry into the United States.
The new service:
- ensures full transparency, as customs duties are paid within the application and accompanied by all necessary documentation (Declaration Identification Number);
- offers highly competitive pricing, as it is based on postal service rates;
- applies to all shipments of items valued at up to 800 dollars;
- operates through a simple and user-friendly process;
- is available in both Greek and English.
Zonos is an internationally recognized application already used by postal organizations in countries such as Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Cyprus to simplify and secure customs clearance procedures.
ELTA ensures that shipments to the United States are carried out smoothly, reliably, and with full cost transparency from the outset.
The standard web-labeling procedure is then followed through ELTA Web Labeling Service before visiting the post office.
