Capital Maritime Finance: «Πράσινο» για εισαγωγή της στην Κύρια Αγορά του Euronext Athens

Euronext Athens approved the listing of Capital Maritime Finance, owned by Evangelos Marinakis, on the Main Market of Euronext Athens.

Capital Maritime Finance operates a fleet of 36 next-generation containerships, comprising 13 vessels in operation and 23 under construction, with total capacity exceeding 148,000 TEUs.

The fleet has an average age of just two years, weighted by TEU upon completion of all vessel deliveries, making it one of the youngest fleets in international shipping.

As the company’s CEO Johannes Kock recently told Naftemporiki, “the fleet incorporates cutting-edge technologies that make our vessels significantly more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly.”

Financial performance

According to the company’s figures, Capital Maritime Finance had $3.9 billion in secured revenues as of the first half of the year.

One hundred per cent of the fleet’s available days are fully contracted through 2034, with an average remaining charter duration of 9.5 years.

The company enjoys the backing of leading global supply chain groups, including CMA CGM and DP World/Unifeeder.

It also has a $1.8 billion investment programme underway through 2028. The company also aims to distribute a portion of adjusted net earnings to shareholders on a quarterly basis.

Capital Maritime Finance is expected to carry out a primary listing on the Greek stock exchange.

However, companies within the Capital Maritime group, controlled by Evangelos Marinakis, have extensive international experience and expertise, with two group companies already listed on the US and Oslo stock exchanges and a combined market capitalisation of more than $4 billion.

Capital Clean Energy Carriers is the largest LNG shipping platform listed on a US stock exchange. It operates 32 state-of-the-art LNG/LPG vessels and has $2.9 billion in contracted backlog, alongside a record of 77 consecutive quarterly dividend distributions.

The group also has a strong track record in Greece’s bond market, having raised a total of €500 million through three unsecured bond issues in Greece.

Capital Tankers successfully listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (Euronext Growth Oslo) in the first quarter of 2026, with an initial $500 million IPO, a record for the Norwegian market.

The company’s share price has risen 39.9% during its first six months of trading, from NOK 134 to NOK 187.5 as of September 17, 2026.
