New Business Cloud Services featuring GPU-as-a-Service for AI Applications
Cosmote Telekom has announced new Business Cloud services powered by its Data Center infrastructure, with a strategic focus on GPU-as-a-Service capabilities. These services are designed for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, advanced data processing, and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
At the core of these services is the integration of NVIDIA technology in partnership with HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise), delivering significantly higher computational performance compared to traditional infrastructure.
Through this architecture, businesses, research institutions and public bodies can develop and train artificial intelligence models, process large volumes of data and implement high-performance computing applications, without the need to invest in proprietary equipment.
The services are provided in an environment that complies with European security and regulatory compliance standards, with the infrastructure hosted in a Cosmote Telekom Data Center in Athens.
The facility has multiple layers of physical and digital security, while complying with international information security standards (ISO) and the GDPR regulation. At the same time, it incorporates energy-efficient technologies and operates using renewable energy sources.
As stated by Lykourgos Antonopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer (Business Segment) of the OTE Group, these new GPU-as-a-Service capabilities provide immediate access to the computational power required for AI application development, while simultaneously ensuring that data is hosted within a secure European environment.
Services
The Business Cloud portfolio encompasses Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and GPU-as-a-Service, empowering enterprises to build, manage, and scale their digital infrastructure with high levels of flexibility.
Key features and capabilities include:
AI-Ready Infrastructure: Optimized for Generative AI (GenAI), digital twins, chatbots, and 3D modeling.
Flexible Billing: “Pay-as-you-go” models to optimize operational costs.
Resource Customization: Options for both standardized and bespoke resource packages.
Management Tools: A dedicated self-service portal for real-time resource management.
Expert Support: Technical assistance and specialized services provided by cloud and AI engineers.
The rollout of these new services aligns with Cosmote Telekom’s strategy to strengthen domestic cloud and AI infrastructure. The ultimate goal is to drive the digital transformation of Greek enterprises and establish Greece as a premier digital services hub in Southeast Europe.
