Α total of 58 Greek fashion companies took part in three major international trade fairs in Milan in September, with the support and organisation of Enterprise Greece, with the aim of strengthening the presence of Greek creative talent in international markets.

According to a statement, the Greek delegation participated in Milano Fashion & Jewels and MICAM Milano, while Greece was represented for the first time with a national pavilion at WHITE MILANO, as part of a strategy to boost the outward orientation and international presence of Greek brands. The two exhibitions attracted more than 37,000 visitors, while 960 business meetings were held at the Greek pavilions, creating opportunities for new commercial partnerships and expanding the international networks of Greek businesses. Greece’s presence at WHITE MILANO, according to Enterprise Greece, is part of initiatives aimed at strengthening the outward orientation of the Greek fashion industry and creating new opportunities for international exposure, networking and commercial partnerships.

With the two initiatives taking place before and during Milan Fashion Week, Milan served as a key meeting point for the international fashion industry, giving Greek companies access to a specialised professional audience and overseas markets.

“The strong national presence at the major fashion capitals this September – Paris, New York and Milan – made a substantial contribution to establishing ‘Greek Chic’ as a benchmark for Greek creativity and further strengthened the country’s international position,” Enterprise Greece CEO Dr Marinos Giannopoulos said.

He noted that this momentum is also reflected in the sector’s export performance, with clothing exports reaching €1 billion in 2025, up 8% from 2024. He also highlighted the importance of target markets, with Italy being, among others, an important market for Greek jewellery and leather goods.

Giannopoulos stressed that Enterprise Greece continues to implement targeted initiatives to strengthen the outward orientation and international presence of Greek businesses.
